The plan was a Cameron Heights trip through glorious singletrack out to Fort Edmonton with maybe a trip back through Selkirk Knights after the rib fiasco back in July... hmmm. The day had so much potential. That Fall crispiness is starting to come out of it's shell making the day quite glorious. I was more than ready for the after work ride.
Then I showed up with no shoes.
The picture above was my only choice in footwear. Yes that is my going to work I give zero fucks choice of summer footwear. Yes I know I would fit in well in a Wal Mart. Naturally I went home upset and chose to ride around Beaumont so I didn't have biking blue balls.
The ride eliminated the chance of biking blue balls but it was terrible and I didn't enjoy one bit of the short eight kilometres of it.
