Passed By Chick, Bit the Dust

Oh man... this post is gonna come off so misogynistic.

Waitt! How am I gonna save this? Well, I watched some WNBA action when I got home from the ride and ate another amazing meal by Mrs Lonebiker.

Boom!

Oh no. Did I just type my wife made me dinner?

I'm spiralling now so there is no hope.

Now I can be as misogynistic as I want! Bah ha ha... Hey, I'm listening to PJ Harvey as I type this so that accounts for more in the good direction right?

So anyways, a ride started in Fort Edmonton where I rode up to shiny balls and for the second time got no dang picture of that Talus Dome. I'm sorry I am off my game but today as I rode to the top I kind of cut some lady off and we made awkward eye contact. Im sorry but that is hard to come off that climb without taking a part of the trail. She could have just moved over is all I'm saying.

My legs were not into this one but I found some decent singletrack time through Mackinnon and a bit of Hawewrlak after crossing a very busy Groat Road bridge.

It was a busy night all around with heavy groups of high school kids on the trails. I tapped out of the trails after Hawerlak avoiding Raven and taking the middle route up trying to stay away from the multi use.

It was easy paved where I rode with my arms behind my camelback enjoying how the bike tracked when I was passed on the left which I clearly did not care and then realized it was a woman *crowd gasps! I kept riding no handed and got cocky and pulled out my phone to try changing a song on the headphones when suddenly it really hurt for about ten seconds.

Crashing on pavement sucks. Crashing on pavement at 48 really sucks.

Another Attempt at Breaking Riders Block

Well here we are after a small break from riding and guess where I end up.... Yes, Leduc. I know you the reader expect nothing but top notch...
