Well we are back for another fun instalment of Beer Friday. What exciting things will happen in this episode? What will the old man bitch about next? I just got home from walking the dogs and noticed some heathen let their dog shit in my next door neighbours front lawn and that angered me greatly. Is that why men die early cause of all that built up anger and sadness? I guess if a guy takes a boxing bag into the shower he could punch the bag and cry his eyes out.
Hot damn... I'm a genius. I believe I just cured the early mortality rate for men.
Or you could just go buy a decent bike. It really doesn't matter what kind of bike, from road to bmx it don't matter and will add time to your life and you'll look really cool to your significant other. My wife lusts after me heavily when I'm in my Fall tights and I don't blame her. I have magnificent buttocks for a 48 year old and you can too. Now go buy a bike.
Well enough of that, let's go to the pour room and open this Limonade bresillienne right from Montreal, Quebec. I don't think we have done a beer from that city and I don't think Molson's counts. I do remember a cool artist painted can but I think they are local to this area. This drink is apparently made out of condensed milk and lime and is popular in Brazil.
4 Origins turned this drink into beer form and it poured beautifully with a proud two fingered head and it is a very acidic and murky looking beer which made me want it badly. A smell of citrus was not surprisingly the most predominant trait and that citrus is.... ya it is lemon.
This one seems like the ultimate Summer beer and the first few sips did not disappoint. This is a beer flavoured lemonade and 4 Origins hit this out of the ballpark. It was quite great. Yes it is acidic not surprisingly cause the whole Lemonade thing and all. It is also very refreshing like a good lemonade which is dangerous cause this is beer.
Damn delicious though.
This beer gets 4.5 suds out of 5
Seriously tragic news about Mathew Gaudreau and Johnny Gaudreau.
Stay safe out there.
