We were going to post a current status of the current Lonebiker but you know what kids? That would even make nazi SS guys choke up when they hear about the current status of things bike wise around here.
Aww shit, I overdid it again.
I'm sorry I included the nazis in my post….
I tried to get some good pics but things in black can be hard to photograph as we have learned with new dogs. There will be plenty of pics posted on here in the coming years so don't fret my friends.
The decision today happened and it was not in the plans for days off. I always had it in my head if I was getting a gravel bike it would be Surly or Salsa and yes Moots. I found a Salsa on the west end and went over to have a look and was quite smitten with this Octane One which was hanging religiously over top of the Salsa like it was sayin 'don't look at that dumb Salsa bitch, buy me instead.'
The blackness with the slightly anodized head cap and seat post clamp make this out of the ordinary of most bikes. Plus the brand being for Poland made this bike so much cooler.
Happy Happy Joy Joy.
First ride tomorrow. Hell yes kids, I feel that inner childhood excitement rising again.
