This bike ride ended over three hours ago and I cannot seem to warm up! I blame the post ride shower that never really got hot enough. Ahhh, the Winter riding post ride shower! One of the greatest things about being a seasoned cyclist!
It never really got that cold today but it definitely cooled down from our balmy Winter we have been having. Temps of around -10 greeted me with a strong wind from the east which increased the cold. A cold that I really felt crossing the river on the LRT bridge. It was a cold that didn't seem to compare to that frigid ride in November.... Strange cause it wasn't that bad today. Just that bridge crossing.
The valley was quiet with the exception of tons of photographers out milling about. I was wondering if I was missing something. I kept wondering why I would see more and more. A strange coincidence? Perhaps. The river valley is a great place to go for pictures. There's no denying that! You see photographers on every ride, but today somebody left the gate open and they were everywhere! Is there something I missed today as I was too focused on a bike ride?
