damp log rides can sometimes give one a very sore shoulder |
It was a treat as it was a rare ride with Joe. Or shall we call him "fearless Joe?" No we won't. I won't have anything to do with that. I'd say the dude is pretty ballsy though. Fort Saskatchewan is known for it's technical trail features and he attacks them armed with audacity. It's cool seeing how other people ride bikes...
A good example would be a wet log ride that he hit at full speed, where most would come up to, investigate, and then hit it. No not him, "just grit your teeth and hit it" would be the motto of a crazy man. It did have the end result from hitting too fast and a rather serious looking crash ensued. If only I had my camera out...sigh.
It was a great roll through the forest especially with a guy who go's way back, impressive to say the least about someone who's still fairly new to riding. Here's hoping for another one before Falls end...
with my tail tucked, I promptly went around |
yet another log crossing, not too many places like this in the edmonton area |
