A very rare post work bike ride was in order as Springtime is now in full fury. It`s about time I`d say! We have suffered long enough with the unseasonable cold temperatures wreaking havoc on our poor souls.
Yes, the valley was a mess and I punished my poor bike through kilometer after kilometer of sandy wet paved trails. How`s the melt coming you ask? Since Sunday there has been substantial melting happening. All you have to do is look in your back yard I guess....Oh, and if you live in California. I get it! It`s beautiful right now, it was beautiful a month ago.... Oh rub it in why don`t ya?
On a bright note. The melt is in full swing and we should be rolling on dry trails on the north side within the week. It`s late, but better late then never huh? (I just punched myself in the back of the head, that really hurts). On another bright note, Good Friday is now booked off and my first long ride of the year shall take place (I can hardly contain myself!)
