Alberta doesn`t suck . Just all the money hungry douchebags that live here .
People so content and fixated on having stuff that they lost focus on what`s important in life . They go home in their Escalades , Hummers , or overpriced pickup trucks to a loveless marriage with kids they don`t even know . I see them everywhere , they have that "lost" look in their eye while out searching for a new big screen t.v which they can`t afford so they just finance it . In short . People are nuts !
I guess this is just the hippie in me talking , but it`s how I felt for a long time . If you think I want to run away and live in a tent in the mountains your wrong . That can be just as dangerous as living out of your means . I don`t see too many of those people , especially around here .
Bring on Eddie Vedders "Society" . When I first heard this song I flipped . The lyrics go along with how I have been thinking for the last 10 years . I copy/pasted the lyrics down below . My favorite line "Society, have mercy on me.I hope you're not angry, if I disagree"....... I could not agree more ! This could be why I have such close ties to Ed Vedder and Pearl Jam as this isn`t the first song that made me go "WOW" .
